Combination 904L is a hardenable, martensitic stainless steel that is an alteration of Alloy 410. Like 410, it contains at least 12% chromium, sufficiently adequate to give consumption safe properties. Compound 904L has higher carbon content than Alloy 410 which is intended to advance quality and hardness attributes. It has great flexibility it the tempered condition yet is fit for being solidified up to Rockwell hardness 50 HRC, the most astounding hardness of the 12% chromium grades.
